A temporary resident visa is an official document issued by a visa office abroad that is placed
in your passport to show that you have met the requirements for admission to Canada as a temporary
resident (either as a visitor, student, business person, or worker). A single entry visa allows
you to enter Canada only once. A multiple entry visa allows you to enter Canada from any country
multiple times during the validity of the visa.
You will be required to submit a letter of invitation to declare the purpose of your visit. MIAC will provide a letter of information if you download the “Request for a Letter of Invitation” and complete the required fields. Please submit separate requests for each traveler in your party. You may send completed requests to Janice@miac.net or Barbara@miac.net.
Applications should be made at least one month prior to your intended departure date.
