MIAC 2010 Seminars

MIAC Seminars are designed for patrons from the realms of retail, music education, worship, and professional product procurement. Many of the past sessions have focused on initiatives including improvement through stronger business savvy and use of technology. The seminar agenda has not been finalized for MIAC 2010 however we encourage you to revisit this webpage in the near future. We will do our best to keep you informed as the details surrounding next year's seminars begin to emerge.

For your reference, please explore some of the sessions that we've hosted in previous years.

MIAC 2009 Seminars:

Strengthening our Industries through The Retailer/Vendor Relationship.

The music products, AV systems integration, and event technologies industries face many of the same challenges as most others, particularly during these difficult and changing economic times. Add to that the fact that most people don't actually need the things we sell, and it becomes clear that we as an industry must do more to attract and stimulate the buying public. A collaborative, bi-directional relationship between retailer and wholesaler can help create a more impactful shopping experience for music and equipment buyers. Improved synergy can lead to better execution, resulting in better conversion and customer retention.
