In addition to the Board of Directors, MIAC has several committees established to provide a way for MIAC members to have their opinions heard. All committees are comprised of industry colleagues who volunteer their time to ensure the success of the Association and of the industry as a whole.
Retail Committee
The Retail Advisory Committee was formed by MIAC in 1997 specifically to develop industry relations between Canadian retailers and manufacturers / distributors. The purpose of the committee is to support the promotion of active music making and music education in our schools across Canada. The committee is comprised of Canadian retailers who are working together to build a solid foundation for Canada’s music products industry.
